Songs like “Candy Shop” and “Just a Lil Bit” were on many people’s playlists and drove countless clubbers to the dance floor in 2005. For me, these rhythms and rhymes take me right back to when I met my now wife.
Our first Summer… Me and the Mrs. in 2005.
Contributions from 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Gwen Stefani, and The Pussycat Dolls, as well as a few classic ‘80s Dance/New Wave hits, formed our soundtrack for that memorable Summer. One of our favorite nightclubs (the former Raoul’s Velvet Room) sometimes featured live acts, including one of the best ‘80s cover bands around, The Zeros!

My wife and I also remember another legend from our nights at Raoul’s… the late "Dancin' Al" Crosthwait!
“You’re right Al, she’s a keeper…”
