“The man, the myth, the legend.”
My name is Anthony “Tony” Woodard. In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, as well as a partner and c-suite executive for a national investment advisory firm, I am the lead guitarist (and occasional vocalist) with a rollicking cover band from Kansas City named Toxic A$$ets. I am a lover of “all things music”. My passions also include health and wellness, sports and fitness, dining and cuisine, nature and beyond; examining the human condition and working to make it better.

Like a ballad, each of our lives tells a story…
Music, including its performance, has an innate power to bring people together, if only for a little while. Like a ballad, each of our lives tells a story, many of which share a common thread.
This is the story about my life-long relationship with music, especially the guitar, and some lessons I learned along the way; lessons that hopefully offer some helpful ideas and reminders for both work and life.
As you read my story, consider thinking about your own relationship with music (or any passion) or how music may have served as the soundtrack to your life.
Thank you for reading my blog!
