Yesterday, my daughter and I visited the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. The Museum features the world's most comprehensive collection of Cash artifacts and memorabilia. Our visit gave us an opportunity to discuss the late artist’s rich history, including his recordings at the legendary Sun Records, stories about a few of his songs that my band has covered, and Johnny’s own epic cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails (see photo of the “Hurt” exhibit below); the original song recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in March 2024.
