Just admit it… You like it; this is a great song. Whether we call them Soft Rock, Adult Contemporary, or my favorite, Yacht Rock, like fine wines, these songs get even better with age. Peter Cetera has one of the most recognizable voices in Rock history. What you may not know is that his trademark singing style resulted from having to sing with his jaw wired shut for a period of time after getting into a brawl at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in 1969; way to find that Silver Lining… In addition to being a great bassist, Peter is most notably a skillful and accomplished songwriter; so many great works. Whether it was at your first middle school mixer or high school prom, or on your big day, “chances are”, you probably danced to one of his songs with that special someone.
