Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reckless!

To all my fellow Bryan Adams fans out there…

This rockin’ album was released on November 5, 1984.

This is the front cover for the album Reckless by the artist Bryan Adams.

“Reckless” was the fourth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released by A&M Records to coincide with Adams' 25th birthday. The album was commercially successful, selling over 12 million copies worldwide. Reckless went to number one on the Billboard 200. Six singles were released from the album: "Run to You", "Somebody", "Heaven", "Summer of '69", "One Night Love Affair", and "It's Only Love"; all six singles charted within the top-twenty on the Billboard Hot 100 with Heaven later reaching the top in June 1985.

A perfect power ballad! Heavily influenced by Journey's 1983 hit "Faithfully", the song reportedly was written while Adams served as the opening act on Journey's Frontiers Tour, and features their drummer, Steve Smith. The song went to the top of the charts in June 1985.

Bryan shared the stage with the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" who also blessed us with some great tunes in 1984! Rest in peace Tina.

"Oh, when I look back now. That summer seemed to last forever!" To this day, this song speaks of youthful exuberance; our endless summer...

My wife and I saw Bryan in concert along with Def Leppard at Community America Ballpark during their 2005 Rock 'N Roll Double-Header Tour. Both acts were superb!
